Kakkar Tailors established in 1968 in Darya Ganj, is a clothing brand that was developed by the visionary late Kasturi Lal Kakkar, who was a former Indian Army serviceman and a national-level basketball player. He acquired his garment-making skills from the Indian Army, where he was awarded the Kashmir Sewa Medal for his exemplary service. The brand is known for its artistic blend and is a testament to the great minds that developed it. He started a tailoring shop & and learned that to make a mark he has to do all the things different from a local tailor. He learned all the fashion skills from foriegn magazines. He started importing the finest american cordrey & pure wool fabrics to give the taste of the best fabrics. he put the anothe line of fabrics which is italian suits all hand made with camel wool.
He got hit & made a mark in the celebrity status. We as a brand learned new skills & understand the customer needs well. In 1997 We got a sudden jolt because of my father passed away.
Till two years we struggled a lot to maintain the customers & the charishma of my father. The set of quality, skills& the customer trust was always their to get back into the game. in 2001 we get back big time & We changed the location of the store
